Day 5 of Undercover Angels: Accepting Compliments
Are you good at accepting compliments ? As a light worker, it’s time to build those muscles!
Accepting a compliment is a kindness, both to yourself and to others, and it’s a skill. Here are a few things to think about…
First of all, it may feel uncomfortable. I would like to remind you that there are industries built upon making you feel defective and small, so having someone tell you that you are fantastic may not always feel good. That is okay. I would encourage you to lovingly breathe through the discomfort. (or journal, or talk to someone or do anything that will help you to hold space for yourself if a loving way).
Wondering what an Undercover Angel is? Are you interested in reclaiming your power and helping create more love and light in our world? Read more here.
You deserve recognition for the exceptional person that you are.
Secondly, it can be difficult figuring out what to say. There is always the good old standby “Thank you”, but I would like to challenge you to really claim your awesomeness by saying, “Thank you, that’s true.”
Holy buckets! How does that feel? Does that seem like bragging to you? But guess what? The compliment is probably true! And you probably do know many of the great things about yourself!
The world desperately needs you to start claiming the person you have worked so hard to become.
You are a miracle, and you are so very very precious.
