I believe in whole person care that respects each individual and their unique experience of health and wellbeing. Different people, different bodies, different histories – the path and manifestation of healing are different for everyone. My goal is to meet you wherever you’re at and explore together the ways in which I can best support you to promote wellbeing within your unique body and experience.
As a practitioner I value compassionate, comprehensive, and cooperative care. Many of the health concerns we experience are complex, nuanced, and interrelated; often they are accompanied by periods of transition – times of immense growth, reflection, and change. There are unique joys and challenges that accompany this work, and I strive to help my patients hold space for and navigate their lived experience. When people feel heard, honored, and well cared for, they are empowered to seek and experience healing. Although the majority of my work involves working with reproductive, obstetric, and LGBTQ-inclusive hormone support, I support and treat anyone looking for respectful and affirming care.
I am licensed with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I received my Masters of Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2012. In addition to my work in private practice, I have interned in a wide variety of clinical settings including the Aliveness Project, Pillsbury House Integrated Clinic, Woodwinds Hospital, and University of Minnesota Fairview-Riverside Hospital. I’ve also been fortunate to study abroad in Tianjin, China. When not in the clinic, you can find me exploring and adventuring with my family in South Minneapolis.
